Why I choose sumo

I visited the Tomozuna-stable for a week one summer vacation when I was a junior high school student. This experience made me decide to become a sumo wrestler. I started sumo when I was a kid. Sumo is the only sport I have done in my life.

Daily life after practise

• Hobbies: I try to relax by taking a nap. I like games - especially TV-games. And I do gym-training to build up my muscles.

• Ambition: My aim is to keep continuing Kachikoshi (winning a majority of bouts in a contest) and to go up to higher ranks. My dream is to become a sekitori-ranked wrestler.
